Another common type of trigger sprayer is the bottle-and-a-pump design. Like the rotary trigger sprayer, the bottle-and-a-pump system works by spraying the chemicals onto the desired surface as the trigger is held down. The difference is that the bottles do not have suction cups and do not require a pump to function. Because of this, the bottles of these cleaners are typically designed for single use and may contain only a few ingredients.
Trigger sprayers can also be powered by electricity or by gas or oil. Some cleaners are powered by electricity, which makes them ideal for cleaning ovens or frying pans that are under pressure.
